Photo of Ernie One step into Raining Cats & Dogs and you will realize who’s the proprietor. It’s the cute Jack Russell with the sassy sway that leaps to kiss you from the floor. Her name is Ernestine and she’s the inspiration for the store. Everything from the food to the toys are carefully scrutinized by this savvy canine. She product tests everything the store offers for dogs and her feline brother Joey tests all the cat stuff. Ernie insists that we carry not only the best stuff for her and her furry companions, but also unique, exquisite items for their humans too.

We are pleased to offer a complete line of dry, canned, and raw foods. All our foods contain no filler grains (such as wheat, corn, soy), chemical preservatives, artificial flavors or colors, byproducts, salt or sugar beet pulp.

Our list of foods: Solid Gold, Wysong, Nature’s Variety, Canidae, Breeder’s Choice, Pinnacle, Avoderm, Active Care, Artemis, Eagle Pack. Raw foods include: Wysong Tundra, Natures Variety, Breeder’s Choice, FarMore, and Steve’s Real Food.

Treats are available in all shapes and sizes. We carry organic raw bones from our freezer, all-natural slow-roasted bones, and smoked ones too. All treats have USDA inspected ingredients and are made in the USA. Ham bones, lamb bones, Kitty Kaviar, Purrlicious, salmon oil, whole dried fish, beef shanks, beef tendons, liver, bully sticks, pig ears, pig snouts, and much more.

We searched high and low for the most durable, playful, interactive toys with your fur kids in mind. These are toys you won’t find at your average pet store. Our Jack Russell Ernestine along with her friends in our daycare test all our toys so we can rate them for your pet companion. All are toys have ET or EA Ratings. That’s store lingo for Ernie tested/approved. She’s an agressive chewer and many products don’t make the cut.

A happy daycare customer! Doggy Retreats
With our daycare services, both here and at Crate-Escape, we offer a “crate” escape to any fur-children in your family. Photo of the daycare area Doggies can visit for full days or 1/2 days. They must have all their shots/vaccines including “kennel cough,” be spayed/neutered, and not be socially aggressive. If you're unable to bring your furkid to our retreat, we can arrange for them to be picked up and delivered at $5 each trip. All dogs must pass a temperament test before attending our retreat. We pride ourselves on finding just the right mix of pets to share this experience. Any acts of aggression displayed at our facilities could be grounds for expulsion. Our goal is to provide a safe, playful area where your pets can roam untethered/leash free. Our doggy daycare regulars come in with boundless energy and leave dog-tired.
